NYC...what is it about you?

I know, I know, it's been over a week. At the insistence of my dear friend Jill, here's the update:

So I went to NYC this past weekend and had an ABSOLUTE blast. I mean, I always always have fun when I go up, but this time was the best ever. Jill was gracious enough to host to me in her adorable apartment and even host a dinner party in my honor. How fabulous a friend is she? She also found time to ply with me oceans of wine and I was nice enough to drag her to a new neighborhood bar. Bad influence? Perhaps. Much needed for both of us? You bet.

I will move there one day. Probably in the near future. I love NYC, but not in a "Times Square and Broadway shows are so fun to see when I visit" way. I love NYC in a "can't wait to have an apartment the size of a closet, ride the subway every day and mourn the loss of green space" way. I know I would thrive in NYC. So, anybody have any job leads?

The real reason I was up there was for the bridal shower and bachelorette party of my good friend Kris. Both were fun and it was nice to catch up with old college friends.

So, mad props to my dearest friend on the earth for the hospitality, food, drink, and general good times. More to come, J-Dawg!!
